Life as a Army Wife....

And it begins...
The hubby signed into work today..
Its a little bitter sweet..more on the bitter side.
I'm not exactly looking forward to this "new" life...
As I know there are long days & long nights ahead...
Then there is the "D" word.. and no I don't mean divorce..
DEPLOYMENT
It's not a matter of "if" its a matter of "when"
Its what he does...its his job...its what hes made to do...
He loves it.. so what can i do??
Sit back & be supportive..that's it..I sit back & pray that everything works out OK.
This weekend..the 10th anniversary of 9/11...
I guess it gives me so many emotions...
So many troops have sacrificed the ultimate price..because of the incident..
It will NEVER be my husband..
He will ALWAYS come home to me...
I will always have these thought no matter what...
I will stay strong..I have to.. for me, for him, for our kids!
I'm now in a whole new world...a world I'm not familiar with..a unknown..
In this army talk..who outranks who..dirty acu's & long days kinda world...
I will get through this obstacle..
I will overcome..
I will be strong & carry through..
I will be a great army wife..
I will stand by his side through thick & thin...
NO MATTER WHAT!!!

New Life!

Well... we made it.. we made it to Clarksville Tennessee..

However we will never I mean NEVER be a Titans fan.. (I'm just saying) lol

And as bad as I hate to say it.. im not a huge fan of this place just yet!

We bought our first house..I know i'm still in shock as well!

But we love it... I have all rooms done except for the master bedroom.. Im just not sure what I want to do in there yet...

Im sure when I get time I will post pictures.. as of right now I just wanted yall to know im still alive! :)

What Im NOT loving Wednesday!

Today would be another post about what I'm loving Wednesday with Jaime.. however I've had a crappy week...yes I know it's only Wednesday so that scares me.. So today.. I'm doing what I'm NOT loving Wednesday!!

I'M NOT LOVING...
The fact that Monday morning..WIC unapproved us after almost 4 years... say we make $169 to much according to guidelines... so I have to buy formula now..and on a military salary with the bills we have...its going to be VERY stressful!!!

I'M NOT LOVING....
That when I came home Monday from that awful appointment.. the dog got out of his crate (after using the bathroom in it) and was in the garage & had chewed up stuff....

I'M NOT LOVING....
That this same stupid dog (that I hate & did not want mind you..but yet I take care of EVERYDAY)... tripped me trying to run into the house after I told him no..and I fell..and hit my head on the bookshelf..leaving a HUGE knot on my forehead!!!

I'M NOT LOVING...
That we have yet to get Shelby's orders...which means..we cant put in our leave to move..we cant get our moving money...we cant schedule a appointment with our realtor..we cant tell our landlords what day we will be out..we cant tell family what day we will be home...we cant rent a uhaul or a storage unit..we cant do ANYTHING..and were "supposed" to be signed out in 20days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'M NOT LOVING...
That our realtor..called our loan officer because he "felt" we could go higher than we were saying in price...ummmm yes but doesn't mean we want to???

I'M NOT LOVING...
That my son has had a attitude like no other this week..and some other issues that's bothering me...so off to the Dr tomorrow we go!

I'M NOT LOVING....
That we haven't sold Shelby's truck yet... a 73' Chevy...everyone wants it for free! oh how it would be nice to have that extra money!!

I'M NOT LOVING...
That packing seems to be taking forever...but yet like i said idk how long I have to move..so i don't want to pack something then need it???

I'M NOT LOVING...
That my sister in law is a stupid "bitch" excuse my language..but if you knew the half of it..you'd want to choke her out to!!!.. oh she doesn't deserve to have kids!!! lets just say there will be court involved!

I'M NOT LOVING...
That on top of all this...im pmsing!!! and oh its friggen HOT outside!!! 110degrees here!!!....

But... regardless I'm loving..my kids..my hubby & my life!!

I VOW....

I'm a good mom...or at least I think I am.. and I try to be.
But there are things that I could always work on & do more with.
Just lately things seem to be falling apart every time I turn around.
Sooo I'm making some vows...for once we get moved & settled.. new place..new home...new start!

I VOW...
To make everyone sit at the kitchen table every night (except rare occasions) & eat dinner...I think this will help Kyson eat better.. plus once he starts school it'll be nice to talk about our days!

I VOW...
To hang up & put away laundry after each load..instead of it sitting in baskets for days..or a week ;)..hey at least its washed right? haha

I VOW...
To read to my kids EVERY single night before bed!

I VOW...
To do more fun activities with my kids...finger paints, play-doh, coloring, playing toys..anything!!

I VOW...
To get out of the house more & make friends for both my kids & I

I VOW...
To teach Kyson more...work with numbers, letters, colors, shapes & sizes!

I VOW...
To make sure every dish is washed before I go to bed...I wake up in a better mood when I wake up to a spotless kitchen!

I VOW...
To do more for me!... Nails, tanning, new shoes.....something!!

I VOW...
To not look like a complete slob everyday when my hubby comes home from work...some days however are PJ type of days!!

I VOW...
Not to gripe so much about money..It is what it is..and will be what it'll be...

I VOW...
To go back to work after the holidays (unless however my hubby gets deployed) pray he doesn't!!

I VOW...
To stop stressing as much... (that will be a work in progress)

I VOW...
To stick to this list...add to it if need be...but to take away as things are checked off & become a part of our everyday routine! :)

Saving me from renting a rug doctor!... I can just use my steam cleaner after pre-treating! Its in the hardware section of wal-mart..also test on a small area first! We have white carpets & no problems! :)

That this weekend is the fourth of July!!.. It will be Braylee's first fourth.. and Kyson's first real fourth with his daddy here :).. Dang army always sending him away!! I'm so excited to dress them up & celebrate!

My hubby for his service to this country!... & to us!.. (because we all know I'm a handful)

This was when he was with his first deployment..along time ago.. But it is my favorite picture of him! Not looking forward to..about a year or so & he will deploy again :(

WHAT I'M NOT LOVING!!!...is that I chopped my hair off!!.. i regret it..its cute but i miss my long hair!

Haircut!

OK so...
Ive NEVER been one to have long hair..
Because I have always had incidents that have kept me from it...
When it was younger it was my mother who made me have AWFUL hair cuts... I rocked the mullet..and the bowl cut..and well heck I didn't even have hair until I was 4...
And I mean No hair...
Then there was the numerous times someone either got something stuck in my hair or it got cut off by accident (ask my cousin about that)
Or wait..the perms that my mother used to make me get...and I'm talking poodle curly perms!!
Oh what I wouldn't give to go through her box of pictures to post some of the horrible things she put me through! lol
Not to mention my hair is SUPER thick..and its got a wave to it..
I used to think I was so cool because i would try to flatten it down with my curling iron..not knowing it was only making it frizzy!
Anyways point is I have tried now for 2 years to grow my hair out..and I got it down to the middle of my back almost...
And well..
I had it hacked off..and i mean below my chin OFF!
I like it when I fix it.. but some days i don't..
Because if I go to bed with it wet...it don't look pretty the next morning & I cant just throw it up in a ponytail!!

I have been speechless...or MIA in other words from the blogging world for a couple weeks now..
I apologize (not like anyone reads this though) lol
I'm not good at this whole blogging thing...
I only really have it so I can read up on some of my favorites! :)
I have had SOOOOO much going on these past few weeks
We are still looking into buying a house once we move..and this is stressing me out.
We have a month...to pack..paint..load up.. put in storage...visit with family...load back up & move... oh and find a house to move into!
Did I mention..in the dead middle of August with 2 kids under 3???
BY OURSELVES!!!!
So anyways my time spent at the computer is being used for research!
I literally look at houses until my eyes hurt!
So with that...my house has been lacking in the clean department..and if you knew me then you'd probably think the world is coming to a end because well..that's not like me!
So my breaks are spent doing that.. I had a yard sale last weekend. Got my hair cut..we went to the river past two weekends & last weekend was fathers day...
We have the fourth coming up.. weekends spent painting & packing...
I really don't think ill get to settle down until after the holidays!...yay me.. (extreme sarcasm)
BUT... I will say that I am SOOOOO excited for this new journey!

Its another What I'm Loving Wednesday with Jaime..and since I was on vacation for 2 weeks.. I missed the last one.. So forgive me as I have some catching up to do.. SO this may be a longer post!

That we had such a great time on our trip "home" to visit family!... It was much needed!

That Kyson goes to the ear doctor today..Why am I loving that..you ask??...Well after 2 sets of tubes before age 2 1/2 we look forward to a good report on them! Lets hope today goes well!

That I go to the doctor on Friday to figure out what is going on with my birth control... I know probably TMI... but I'm having major problems... I got the mirena implant..and I'm pretty sure I will be going back to the pill!

That my kids took there first bath together last night! Braylee couldn't stop laughing at her brother..it was the sweetest thing ever!! Id post a picture but we all KNOW someone would throw a fit!!!
